Scratching the Surface opening at the Ford Building

Scratching the Surface opening at the Ford Building 2505 SE 11th ave Friday August 10th from 6-9pm

New works by visiting artists Tim Folland and Ianthe Jackson and a new installation by Justin Scrappers Morrison.

Justin Scrappers Morrison presents an installation about the watershed we live in. Made of salvaged wood, old house paint, cardboard, busted radios and a bunch of amazing things Scrappers has found along the Willamette, an installation is born. By the gathering of these items he uses this new body of work to show how a person can adapt the river into their own personal story about themselves. Others see the path of becoming one with the environment. Come by for a lecture with the River Keepers and stay for the fun. Located in Suite 232 everyday during August.

As Scrappers says "It's pure urban hipster folk art".

Opens Friday Aug 10th 6-9pm Tim Folland and Ianthe Jackson present new works and videos in room 204. Come by and have a chat with galleryHomeland's newest artists in residence. Working nonstop since their arrival, Folland and Jackson open their schedules to show new and old works. Located in Suite 204 and open Friday 6-9pm and by appointment until the end of August.
