January 6 – 27, 2012, galleryHOMELAND is proud to present Portland artists and photographers Larry Cwik and Miri Stebivka. Through travel, personal experience, and the human figure, each artist broadens their own field of vision and build on their stunning backgrounds.   Stebivka’s new work focuses on the beauty of the figure and elaborates on form with his playful sense of light and manipulation. During this exhibition Cwik uses his grand sense of composition to capture the pristine moments of color and contrast within bold cultures and everyday people.  With this exhibition, Cwik and Stebivka bring forth new works which create an amazing dialog of form and color and plays upon their vast backgrounds in the photography world.  Through new techniques and traditional methods, their works  move far beyond contemporary photography.  galleryHOMELAND is excited to host Cwik/Stebivka and honored to present such talant.  Please join us Friday, January 6th!
