LINE OF SIGHT
LINE OF SIGHT brings together works focusing on contemporary concerns in painting such as identity, desire, influence and resistance. By considering the roles and responsibilities of the artist as a guiding force each of the participants in LINE OF SIGHT uniquely deploys painting both in traditional forms gleaned from history and experimental formats less familiar to the practice.
LINE OF SIGHT is a group exhibition of PNCA BFA students in Intermediate Painting curated and organized by Victor Maldonado. Victor Maldonado is a practicing artist, curator, and freelance writer. Maldonado has participated in projects and exhibitions across the globe. In addition to his work as a contemporary artist, Maldonado is a faculty member at the Pacific Northwest College of Art in the Intermedia, and Thesis and Painting Departments. Maldonado’s work has most recently been acquired by the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, TX. Maldonado is Represented by Froelick Gallery.
