A Wonderful New Venture and A Grandest Of All Openings. Please join us on Friday, December 14th from 6-9pm for the opening of galleryHOMELAND’s first exhibition, A NW Thang in its new home at the Ford Building.
A NW Thang is a group exhibition featuring Northwestern artists from Portland and Seattle. Marc Dombrosky, Saya Moriyasi, Patrick Rock, Paige Saez, Cynthia Star and Jason Woods will be presenting playful works that address concerns of class, culture and aesthetics in a regionally accented contemporary voice. An exploration, in part, of the natural history of an object, an illumination that can and does subvert its principle form.
