Exploring physical and metaphysical ideas of illumination, “Resplendency” gathers artists who go beyond utilizing contemporary light technologies to make statements on what conceptually light references within today’s society. From LEDs to light boxes to phosphorous pigments to neon to projection – the works in this exhibit offer different renditions of what meaning is latent in having light, giving light, reflecting light, finding light and being enlightened.
